Government counter-insider threat (C-InT) programs are widening their scope to address workplace violence. Structured professional judgment (SPJ) is an evidence-based approach that combines empirically validated tools with professional judgment. This video provides an overview of the SPJ Tool Reference Guide, which was created to educate C-InT professionals on the variety of SPJ tools available to assess risk for different types of insider threat. The video was intended to increase awareness of Guide and the use of SPJ tools in violence risk assessment (VRA) and threat assessment (TA).
