Public Relations
To promote a positive image of military service, JAMRS coordinates a series of public affairs initiatives. These initiatives are designed to increase the relevance and visibility of the Military while also improving the public’s understanding of military service.
FUTURES Magazine
FUTURES magazine is an annual joint publication that highlights the opportunities available in the military by providing a 360-degree view of life—both on and off duty—in Service members’ own words. The audience includes both youth and adult influencers, including school counselors. Each fall, JAMRS distributes FUTURES magazines to 22,000+ high schools as well as community colleges nationwide and to Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) high schools worldwide.
JAMRS works with each Military Service recruiting entity to identify and select Service members to showcase each year. All content in the magazine—as well as all JAMRS market communications—is informed by JAMRS market research.
