Department of Defense (DoD) surveys have routinely analyzed workplace climate findings by various demographic groups to evaluate diversity, equity, and inclusion in the military. To date, however, limited analyses have been conducted to understand the workplace climate perceptions and experiences of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual (LGB) military members. Examining workplace climate by sexual orientation is necessary and crucial to ensure policies, prevention programs, and response systems are inclusive and address all problematic behaviors that are counter to the readiness, retention, and well-being of our diverse force.
