This report describes sampling and weighting methodologies for the June 2009 Status of Forces Survey of Reserve Component Members (June 2009 SOFS-R). The first section describes the design and selection of the sample. The second section describes weighting and variance estimation. The final section describes the calculation of response rates, location rates, and completion rates for the full sample and for population subgroups.
