The briefing includes survey results on four topics covered in the 2008 Status of Forces Survey of DoD Civilian Employees (SOFS-C): overall satisfaction, leadership and management, retention, and the National Security Personnel System. Trend comparisons are made (when available) for DoD civilian employees overall, by DoD component, and by years of Federal service, and 2008 results are also presented for each question for an additional 69 demographic subgroups.
