The 2008 QuickCompass on Career Status Bonuses (QCSB) was conducted at the request of Military Personnel Policy to assess the decisions made by senior Service members concerning acceptance of a Career Status Bonus (CSB) after 15 years of service versus enrollment in the alternate High-3 retirement plan. Questions were included on background information, expected years of service, financial health, the Thrift Savings Plan, and retirement programs.
