There is no DoD or Federal Government database that tracks or collects information categorically on domestic extremism. This effort examines the array of Federal databases to determine if one or more databases could serve as a resource for identifying individuals and incidents related to domestic extremism activities that do not necessarily meet the threshold of a federal criminal investigation. These databases include information on military applicants, job applicants, current and former employees, Service members, and security clearance applicants and holders.
